Kevin Biondolillo, PsyD

Licensed Psychologist

Abigail Mansfield Marcaccio, PhD

Dr. Kevin Biondolillo has received his doctoral in clinical psychology from Wheaton College and completed his dissertation on the narrative development of sexual minority emerging adults in Christian higher education. As part of his program, Kevin worked part-time as a therapist at several sites in Illinois for four years. He then completed his doctoral internship at SUNY UAlbany and his postdoctoral internship at the University of Rhode Island. Kevin has worked extensively with emerging adults at college counseling centers, especially regarding difficult life transitions, executive functioning concerns, and identity formation. Beyond this, Kevin has worked with individuals and couples across the lifespan with concerns of depression, anxiety, relationships, and processing traumas. LGBTQIA+ patients, religious/spiritual backgrounds, as well as the complex intersection of various cultural identities are all groups Kevin is particularly passionate about working with.

Here is what Kevin has to say regarding his approach to treatment: My approach starts with an initial intake to allow me the opportunity to better understand you, your story, and the barriers you are facing at this point in your life. Then you and I will collaboratively develop some guiding goals to work toward, with the understanding that life is dynamic and sometimes we need to adjust accordingly. I strongly believe that you are the expert in your life. I will use my psychological expertise in combination with your personal expertise to assist you on your mental health journey. I am integrative in my approach, meaning I incorporate aspects of many different evidence-based treatment modalities depending on the needs of my patient and their goals. You can typically expect exploration of thoughts, feelings, past patterns, socio-contextual factors, and interpersonal relationship dynamics with me in session.

When Kevin isn't working, he enjoys taking walks with his cat, reading, playing video games, and exploring local cuisine.
