Luisa DeLuca, LMHC

Luisa DeLuca is a highly accomplished and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor
(LMHC) with over 30 years of expertise in mental health counseling. She provides
compassionate telehealth mental health services to adult clients of South County Psychiatry.
Luisa holds a Master of Science in Agency Mental Health Counseling from the University of
Rhode Island, where she also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Women’s Studies.
Throughout her career, she has worked in diverse settings, including private practice, group
practice, employee assistance programs, and community mental health centers.

Her specialties include brief therapy, treating depression and anxiety, assessing suicidality, and
counseling the LGBTQ+ community. She is highly skilled in evidence-based approaches like
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills.
Luisa is a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) and has been licensed as a Mental
Health Counselor since 1997. Her dedication to improving mental health outcomes and her
