About Our Services in Waterbury, CT

We offer three main types of services at South County Psychiatry, including psychotherapy, medication management, and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). We offer each of our patients a personalized treatment plan using an evidence-based approach.

A little more about what we offer:

Psychotherapy - Psychotherapy is a common treatment used for many different mental health conditions, such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, addiction, stress, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, specific phobias, and various negative thought patterns.

It involves a lot of talking and listening. We want you to feel heard and to express what you are feeling and how you are feeling. And, we want you to listen as we help give you the tools you need and empower you to use them.

Medication Management - Although medication can be used for all sorts of mental illnesses, such as depression, ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, panic disorders, and more,

Some mental health conditions can indeed be better treated with medication. So, at South County Psychiatry, we offer medication management by carefully and methodically monitoring the treatment to yield the right results.

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) - This non-invasive procedure is used to stimulate nerve cells in the brain as part of a safe and effective treatment method for major depression and OCD.
